Acting to make
the gospel of Jesus Christ accessible and available to every unchurched person
in Burntisland, by having appropriate services, courses, bridging groups and
special events; but above all by enabling all of our congregation to share the
good news.
Spiritual Growth - "grow disciples"
Our congregation are growing spiritually, so that we are closer to Jesus, more like Jesus and more effective as servants of Jesus.
Fellowship - "love one
another"
Building loving relationships between
Christians, enabling us to share and to care for each other
Serving - "serve the wider community"
Effective in caring for
our community and indeed the world by enabling Christians to find and use their
gifts for the sake of others
Worship - "to glorify and worship God"
In every service to be
dependent on the Holy Spirit, to be centred in Jesus Christ and to worship the
Father, so that God is glorified, God's word is communicated and God's presence
is evident.
Practical Stewardship - "to enable all of the above"
Having premises which are ideally suited to the purposes of God, and having sufficient finances to enable all the local work to go forward and
expand and to make a growing contribution to the work of the church outside
Burntisland.
